PCIIRM - Practitioner Certificate in Information Risk Management

The Practitioner level Certificate in Information Risk Management (PCIIRM) is aimed at information security and information assurance professionals.  The qualification covers the core concepts of Information Risk in a hands-on approach which will require the individual to not only develop an excellent understanding of the underlying theories and concepts but will also require them to actively apply their knowledge to the practical elements of the Information Risk Management Programme, this enables individuals to make immediate use of their skill within their organisations.

Individuals will learn about the the benefits or information risk management to the organisation, the risk management terminology, how to successfully conduct threat and vulnerability assessments, business impact analysis and risk assessments, controls and risk treatment, presenting the the risk treatment plan as well as the usage of information classification schemes for information assets.
