R&S Browser in the Box
Developed with the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), the fully virtualized R&S Browser in the Box surfing environment offers an innovative, multi-level concept for secure and convenient Internet surfing and optimum protection against malware for public authorities and companies.
The virtual browser closes the "Internet" security gap by enabling a digital quarantine for attacks: malware is isolated before it even comes to execution. Instead of detecting malicious code - as with antivirus programs - execution is prevented from the outset. All potentially dangerous activities are isolated in a closed virtual browser. The operating system and browser are completely separated from each other. Intrusive malware remains enclosed in the virtual environment and cannot spread to the computer and the local network - restarting the browser always takes place in a virus-free state. By isolating the intranet, even in the event of an attack, malicious code cannot penetrate the internal network and steal sensitive company data.
