Born out of the needs of the US Intelligence Community, Centrifuge was designed to address demanding and mission critical applications, including national security, cyber security, financial crimes analysis, and border protection, where analysts are charged with identifying relationships, patterns and gaps in these demanding analytical applications. Centrifuge provides next generation data visualization and interactive analytics software that helps organizations discover insights, patterns and relationships hidden in their data and collaborate with other to address business challenges.
Analysts can directly interact with and navigate between visual representations of the data, including charts, relationship graphs, timelines, maps, tables and geospatial; ask open-ended questions; and filter data, create new data fields and spin-off data as hidden insights are uncovered. The technology allows for on-demand data integration from disparate external sources to expand visualizations without complex programming. Users can create drill charts that include many categories and measures, and drill down to view deeper segmentation of the data. Country and world maps combined with geospatial time player allows users to map data elements by time. Collaborative analysis allows analysts to share results and force multiply efforts through collective insights of an analysis team. The application is deployed through a standard web browser and requires no client software installation.
