Computer Network Defence has been offering a broad spectrum of Information Security services including recruitment and consultancy for many years. During this time we have established an extensive network of contacts, with many thousands of Information Security candidates on our database, covering every specialist field. We will stray from our Information Security specialism to support a client looking for other IT staff in addition to Information Security in order to reduce the clients overheads. We are extremely flexible and will endeavour to change whatever is necessary to adapt to your manpower requirements.
Our knowledge of the Information Security sector allows us to not only understand your needs, but also to ensure that the candidates match your requirements. Second Tiering
Some of our work comes from second tiering with other agencies, these agencies recognise us as niche suppliers of Information Security staff and subcontract their requirements to us. This is usually done in secrecy with the end client having no knowledge. These agencies often compliment us on our candidate relationships, envying the time we can spend making a good match and preparing our candidates.
Permanent Staff
Computer Network Defence Ltd are equally adept supplying permanent staff as we are supplying contract staff. Our clients include both Public and Private Sector and cover a broad spectrum of supplier types from consultancies, through service providers to not for profit. We pride ourselves on the care and attention provided to our candidates, thereby ensuring not only a good fit both in personality but also technical competence. Contract to Permanent
Many organisations take on Contract staff for a number of reasons including risk mitigation, expertise, long term cost, expediting requirements etc. However, their own overheads and risk result in them being more expensive than most of their permanent counterparts. Once the reasons for using contract staff in the first place diminishes, there is often a desire to replace them with permanent staff. The logical solution is for the contractor to become a permanent employee of the client. However, most contract staff want to stay as contractors, this leaves the client with the dilemma of replacing the experienced contractor with a potential unknown commodity. If the client notifies us from the outset that the position may change from contract to permanent, we can source contractors who may be willing to go permanent for the role.

Manpower substitution is where we bodyshop candidates into your existing workforce, either as Temps or Contractors, many clients prefer this approach as they maintain a tight control of the situation. We try to really get to know our candidates, with relationships stretching back many years, this type of close relationship helps us to ensure a good match, benefiting client and candidate alike. more
Manpower Solutions
Many customers would like to out source an entire manning requirement allowing us to organise and manage their needs. Similar to a managed service, except that we deliver it on the customers site, this is especially useful to the Public Sector, where strict physical security requirements must be met. We manage the staff and replace them either permanently or temporarily for holiday cover, sickness etc. The client reviews all CV's and is provided the opportunity to meet each contractor. The clients word is final on the suitability of staff. The manpower solution also allows us to move staff in and out of a workplace to meet specific technical requirements. For instance if we have a technical specialist working with one of our other clients, we can move them around to ensure a more effective solution.
